Near Dilsen, in a rural area surrounded by forest and farmland, Dhamma Pajjota (light or torch of Dhamma) is situated. The centre lies in Belgium but closely to the borders with The Netherlands and Germany. Old students (students who have completed at least one 10-day course with S.N. Goenka or one of his assistant teachers) from these three countries support the operation of the centre. Courses are taught in Dutch, German, French and English.

The 11-acre site has spacious walking areas with many mature trees and an orchard. The 3-storey building, which used to be a family hotel, accommodates 80 students. Mostly in double rooms with attached bathrooms. Another building, the former restaurant, currently houses the kitchen and dining facilities, office and accommodation for the voluntary workers.
